Convictions rooted in our DNA

For the Development, Inclusion and Dignity of Persons with Intellectual and psychological disorders

Our Origin

Phénix group homes, founded by a team of professionals in psychology, education, and law, alongside families of individuals with special needs, were created to provide support for families and individuals impacted by mental health conditions, such as intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, psychotic disorders, and others.

Vision of Well-being

At Phénix, we are guided by a profound conviction: every human being possesses absolute inherent value, regardless of their abilities or circumstances. Our mission is to cultivate a culture of respect for differences, promotion of diversity, and solidarity. We stand alongside the most vulnerable, supporting their integration into both social and natural environments. Our goal is to combine scientific psycho-socio-educational methods with human values to create pathways toward lives filled with dignity, love, and belonging, ensuring that everyone can fully exercise the rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Currently Phénix is active through two entities:

1. Rehabilitation and Integration Center

Located in Baouchriyeh near Beirut, the «CRI» is a psycho-educational day center that welcomes individuals with intellectual disabilities and psychological disorders. A professional, multidisciplinary team supports each participant in developing the skills needed for social integration.

2. Residential Home

Hosting individuals with mental health challenges, supported daily by a team of professional specialists and assistants. The focus is on meeting their everyday needs while fostering their personal development and strengthening their functional abilities to help them live as autonomously as possible.

Eva KHOURY

Despite his challenges, my son experienced extraordinary moments at He made real progress in his development, especially in communication, and most importantly, he felt surrounded by a family of caring professionals.

From the very beginning, I was actively involved in the founding of Phénix driven by the deep belief that such a place could offer hope and support to other families like mine. To this day, I continue to fight so that Phénix can grow and continue to be a refuge—a place where children are not only helped, but truly loved and understood.

Phénix gives me something priceless: the feeling that my son's future is safe.
